FLASH or HTML

Some prefer FLASH while other prefer HTML or CSS,
(cascading style sheets)

There are advantages to using each of these technologies and each has its own pros and cons, perhaps you have read some reviews about how hard it is to use Flash or why using only HTML is better, since each language is unique and has its own goals in providing the best user experience, you can find evidence on both sides.

I find that using a mixture of both FLASH and HTML together can be a rewarding way to use each of these technologies to complement each other. I recently read an article that was written by a “flash basher” (someone who does not like flash) the article started out well but by the middle of the article they were giving incorrect information concerning flash and how it works, I was amazed that apparently there are people out there who just do not like the way flash works, (or more likely they do not understand flash at all)

Flash can be a good thing, and I can understand how some folks can get irritated by some advertisement that is just too flashy and annoying.

However it is a good idea to realize that with half a billion Internet users and the count growing every day you just cant  pass up that kind of audience.

FLASH is slow and takes too long to load...

While it is true that Internet users that use dial up to connect to the Internet can encounter flash that takes a long time to load, this is usually because many flash based websites are not developed in an optimized way, for web presentations, while there are many flash based applications that do take a long time to load, FLASH can be developed to open and run very quickly, using a minimal design with less animation can accomplish this goal and allow even dial up users to view flash with minimal wait time.

So weather you like flash or not, its here to stay and its more popular than just about any other technology, some uses include educational quiz or games, that use flash technology, MP3 players, as well as complex programming that allows unique interactive experiences.
